HOW PHYSIOTHERAPY CAN HELP
Your care begins with understanding what is limiting you, then combines the right treatment, education and progressive rehabilitation to help you move forward.
Hands-on treatment may be used to help settle symptoms and support comfortable movement as part of your broader rehabilitation plan.
Targeted joint techniques may help improve movement and create a better starting point for active rehabilitation.
Dry needling may be included where clinically appropriate, following assessment and discussion of your individual needs.
Clear education and graded exercise help rebuild strength, tolerance and confidence for everyday life, work and training.
Progressive rehabilitation can bridge the gap between initial recovery and the physical demands of your work, training or sport.
Personalised assessment and treatment for acute and ongoing musculoskeletal concerns, built around the work, activities and movement you need to regain.

Individual treatment
Treatment choices are based on your assessment, symptoms, movement and goals.
TREATMENT AND DRY NEEDLING
Physiotherapy treatment is designed to help you understand what is contributing to your symptoms and build a practical pathway back to movement. Depending on your assessment, care may include hands-on treatment, joint mobilisation, dry needling, education and progressive exercise.
Dry needling uses fine, sterile needles in selected muscles or soft tissues. When clinically appropriate, it may help reduce muscular tension or discomfort and improve comfortable movement, creating an opportunity to progress active rehabilitation.
It is not necessary for every injury and is not used as a stand-alone solution. Areeb will explain why it may be suitable, discuss what to expect and obtain your consent before treatment.
Treatment response varies between individuals. Recommendations are made after assessment and adapted to your presentation, preferences and rehabilitation goals.
